The compatibility board answers one question for every Blizzard game: does the build that is live right now run on Linux? It sits in the sidebar on the front page, and in the menu on a phone.
Where the build comes from
Each row shows the build Blizzard is serving right now, read from Blizzard's own version service, the same source the Updates bot watches. When a game patches, its row moves to the new build straight away, and that build starts with no reports.
What the marks mean
- Works (check): everyone who reported this build got it running.
- Mixed (warning): at least one person had issues, or some reports say it works and others say it broke.
- Broken (cross): every report for this build says it failed.
- No reports (dash): nobody has reported this exact build yet.
A build with no reports never inherits a verdict from an older one. When an earlier build was confirmed, the row says so and names that build, so it cannot be mistaken for the current one.
How it counts
Every number is people, not posts. Each BlizzNux Launcher install counts once per build, under its most recent result. Someone whose game broke and then worked after a fix counts as working, not as both.
The counts come only from reports the launcher sends with sharing turned on. Nothing on the board is typed in by hand, and nothing is filled in ahead of time.
History for each game
Click a game to see every build BlizzNux has seen for it, newest first, with the counts for each one and when it was released. Each build links to its thread in Updates, where the individual reports are, including any failures and their logs.
Helping fill it in
Install the BlizzNux Launcher, link your account and turn on sharing. Each time a game runs, the launcher reports it, at most once a day per build, and the board updates within a minute.
