The AppImage now runs on older distributions.
Fixed
- AppImage: earlier releases were built on a rolling-release system and only started on distributions with glibc 2.44 or newer. Elsewhere they stopped with "version GLIBC_… not found". Releases are now built on Ubuntu 22.04, so the AppImage needs glibc 2.35 or newer. Tested on Ubuntu 22.04 and CachyOS.
Changed
- The deb and rpm packages are built in the same Ubuntu 22.04 environment.
If you use the AppImage on another distribution, please tell us how it goes: your distribution and version, whether it starts, and the last lines it prints in a terminal if it does not.
