- The log attached to a bug report or a failed launch is tidied before it is sent. A line, or a short block of lines, repeated three or more times in a row is kept once with a count, for example
(×126) …, and blank lines are dropped. One noisy warning can no longer fill the whole log and push the real error out.
- The GStreamer "wrong ELF class" notices that Proton prints when it rebuilds its plugin list are harmless. In reports they now read "GStreamer skipped a plugin built for the other CPU architecture (harmless)", so they are not mistaken for a failure.
