Your BlizzNux account, without a login dialog.
New
- Log in through the site itself: until the launcher is linked to a blizznux.com account, every start opens the site's login page in the embedded view. Logging in there links this install; nothing to type, no extra window. One inline question then asks whether to share compatibility reports with the community. "Log in with BlizzNux.com" in Settings starts the same flow; "Log out of the launcher" ends it.
- Automatic verification reports, opt in: with sharing on, a successful Battle.net launch and each successful game session are recorded on your blizznux.com profile with your setup (distro, GPU and driver, Proton, umu, game and Battle.net builds), at most once per day per build. Failed launches include the launcher log. Switch it off any time under Settings.
- Troubleshooting tracer: start the launcher with
BLIZZNUX_NET_DEBUG=1 and every request the embedded site makes is logged to the terminal, status only, with bodies only on failure.
Changed
- The game picker is gone. The launcher starts Battle.net; pick the game there.
- Exactly one navigation at startup. This fixes a session mismatch that could show "Oops! Something went wrong" when logging in from the launcher.
- A daily report counts only once the site has accepted it, so a failed send is retried on the next session.
- Linking polls never overlap and stop as soon as the install is linked.
Removed
- The one-time code account link. Logging in on the site inside the launcher is the only path.
